Biotech Job Structure | Biotech Industry Introduction

By combining biology and medicine with engineering, biomedical engineers develop devices and procedures that solve medical and health-related problems.

Biomedical engineers design devices used in various medical procedures, such as the computers used to analyze blood or the laser systems used in corrective eye surgery.

They develop artificial organs, imaging systems such as magnetic resonance, ultrasound, and x-ray, and devices for automating insulin injections or controlling body functions.

1. Research & Development: They identify information, observe it and analyze the data. On the basis of
their analysis, they interpret the results and prepare the summaries.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in pharmacy

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

2. Quality Engineer:
They develop and maintain the quality standards for the process and monitor the stability.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
BPharma or MPharma

Strong interpersonal skills

Knowledge of computers
Problem solving techniques

3. Medical Representatives: They are responsible for sale of pharmaceutical brands.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Science / Pharmacy Graduate
MBA

Good convincing skills
