Public Relation is deals with the monitoring and evaluating public attitudes and maintaining the balance and understanding between an Institution /organisation and its Internal and External public.

'Organisation' may be a government body, a business, a profession, a public service or a body concerned with education, commercial, health, culture, education – any type of small large or  voluntary body . Public are very important to the organisation.

They include customers - existing and potential customer, employees and management; media; government; suppliers; opinion-formers.

Its a prestigious and challenging career. The ambit of employment in this field is being increasingly fathomless. Because of being directly connected with the relationship and harmonious ambience between the employer and the employees, a career in this is well-connected, influential, and meaningfully prolific.

They  can find employment different sectors, like-Corporate Sector/ Government Sectors / Pressure

Groups/Causes/Lobbies / Products (creating a good image of the product before it is launched) / Public Personalities  / Public Sector  AND Schemes/ Projects.

The main components to Public Relations (each not necessarily a part of all corporations, organizations or public relations firms), are:

• Media Relations - perhaps the most dominant function of public relations.
• Speechwriters - focus is primarily to write speeches for the CEO and other top executives.
• Issues Management - deals with matters affecting corporations in the present and potential future.
• Employee Communications -prepare quarterly and annual reports for the organization, and employee
publications.
• Corporate Contributions - oversees the policy and contributions for the company
• Community Relations - the key to the organization's involvement in the local and national communityDesire Qualification- Graduation in any discipline preferably with social sciences, liberal arts and humanities with a diploma or post graduate diploma courses in Public relations, is required. Excellent communication skills are mandatory.
